Objective

To test the effectiveness of air dis-infection.

Methodology

Four Novaerus devices were tested in the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (DAIC) of the Brothers Hospitallers of Saint John of God Hospital in Łódź. The devices were installed in the patient room and operated continuously for 24 hours.

Summary of Results

Results of the microbiological test indicated significant reduction in the number of microorganisms in the air in the DAIC. Since the Novaerus devices were installed, the amount of microorganisms in subsequent tests were low.
